Ajayi & Nigerian descent named in EFL Team of the Week

Semi Ajayi and Nigerian descent Eberechi Eze have been named in the EFL Team of the Week after their impressive exploits over the weekend.

Super Eagles star was in the starting lineup and scored the equaliser for his first goal for West Brom as they played to a 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage to extend Baggie’s unbeaten start to the campaign.

Eze on the hand has been one of the standout Nigerian stars in the EFL and has continued his top form by scoring his third goal and also laid an assist as Queens Park Rangers beat Luton Town 3-2 victory at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

In the EFL Team of the Week, Ajayi was named as a central defender while Eze was deployed as a right midfielder in a 3-4-3 formation why the team led by Rotherham United manager Paul Warne.
