Club boss seeks early release of players for Atletico clash

Chairman of the Club Owners Association of Nigeria Barr. Isaac Danladi has called on the NPFL clubs whose players were named for the super Eagles vs Atletico Madrid match to ensure quick and early release of their players for the match.

The Super Eagles team B which comprised of players mostly from the top flight domestic league in Nigeria will face Spanish top side Athletico Madrid at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium Uyo Akwa Ibom state on Tuesday 22nd May 2018.

The club Owners boss said the call became necessary in view of the fact that the Super Eagles needed a full squad to face the visitors in order to give them a good fight as done in Spain during their first meet organized by Laliga .

Danladi who doubles as a member of the NFF technical and development committee added that the high quality of the friendly encounter would serve as a big boost to the NPFL league.

The Nasarawa United boss urged the various clubs in the league to come en masse to support the super Eagles in Uyo even as he thanked them for their usual cooperation.
