Man City vs Chelsea: Guardiola set for revenge mission

Manchester City host Chelsea on at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday as they aim to continue their good room of form especially at home.

Maurizio Sarri's men defeated the Cityzens in the first leg of the clash, Manchester City need a win this match to maintain their lead over Liverpool on the top of the Premier League table.

Team captain Vincent Kompany will miss the tie against Chelsea as well as Claudio Bravo and Benjamin Mendy.

Aside from these three players Manchester City has no other injury worries ahead of the clash against Maurizio Sarri’s men.

CHELSEA:

The Blue have all players fit for this clash, Sarri has a full squad at his disposal to select his squad from.

The two Premier League teams have played on 146 times with Chelsea having a better head to head record of 58 wins and Manchester City boasting of just 50 wins and 38 ended in a draw.

The last time they met in the Premier League Chelsea won 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge but Manchester United won Chelsea in the Community Shield 2-0 before the commencement of this season.

The Cityzens has been in a fabulous form of late, they have won four of their last five games with the only defeat against Newcastle in the Premier League.

Their victory over Everton sent them to top of the Premier League table, though they have played a game more than Liverpool.

CHELSEA:

The London team has struggled for consistency they showed at the start of the season, they have not been impressive in the final third of the field but with the signing of Argentine forward from Juventus who was on loan at AC Milan has improved the attack a bit.

Chelsea’s last five games have three victories and they suffered two defeats.
