Sadio Mane delivered a wonderful pass to Firmino but the Brazilian attacker touch on the ball was just to easy for the David de Gea to deal with.

Manchester United broke the deadlock after a foul on Divock Origi lead to counter attacker that caught the Liverpool defence open and Marcos Rashford tap in the ball from the close range.

Mane's goal was disallowed after the video replay showed that the Senegalese handed the ball before he slipped away from Lindelof.

in the second half Origi was substituted for Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain as the away team aim to add fresh legs to the attack.

Manchester United remained the better side of the two teams, the Red Devils showed more desire to score more goals.

Liverpool add a bit pressure in the last 10 minutes of the clash as they seek to get the equaliser but Manchester United was more dangerous whenever they advanced forward.
