Liverpool has got a gem and his name is Mohamed Salah from Egypt. The 25-year-old will officially become a Reds player of July 1 when the transfer window officially opens but his signing is one to be excited about.

Last season in the Serie A, Salah scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists as Roma finished second on the log, just four points behind Juventus.

Salah’s biggest strength is his pace and with Liverpool setup, he will fit in adequately. Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of high tempo football and his teams are devastating on counter-attacks.

At Borussia Dortmund, Marco Rues and Mario Gotze provided super outlets for the German manager’s team whenever they attack or break on a counter and he will be hoping that Salah and Saido Mane will provide such electrifying combo at Anfield.

It may seem that Salah has an unfinished business in England as he failed to live up to expectations the first time he played in the premier league. The 25-year-old was snatched from under the noses of Liverpool by Chelsea.

However, it did not go as planned at Stamford Bridge as he was shipped out on loan to Fiorentina then Roma. He later joined the Rome based side on a permanent basis and excelled in his two-year sojourn.

Now, he is back in the premier league with the mission to thrill and shut his critics that he is good enough for the English top flight.

In two seasons with AS Roma, Salah scored 29 goals in 65 appearances. He was a key part of the Rome based side last season as he finished the campaign with a remarkable 19 goals and 11 assists.

Salah will score goals for Liverpool and his drive and pace will see him torment defenders. He is just hitting his peak and Liverpool are lucky to have him join them at this time.

The Stadio Olimpico will miss Salah as he gave them great exciting with his goals and assists. But like we see all the time, he may come up against Roma in the UEFA Champions League if Roma are paired against Liverpool.

Georginio Wijnaldum had the highest assists in the premier league of any Liverpool player last season with nine but Salah can top that as he enjoys assisting play as much as he likes scoring himself and provided 11 last season for Roma in a very successful season.

Salah may be the inspiration Liverpool needs to finally win the league title for the first time in the premier league era.

The premier league suits him perfectly and if the Reds play to their full potentials in every game, they may be very difficult to stop with Salah, Mane, Coutinho and firmino running rings round the opponents.
