Real Madrid €54 million signing Rodrygo has slammed Neymar's World Cup critics after the Paris Saint-Germain forward suffered from his theatrics at the just concluded FIFA tournament in Russia.
Rodrygo was of the view that "nobody says anything" when players from other countries exaggerate fouls.
Despite Brazil playing few games that Belgium, only Eden Hazard suffered more fouls than the Brazilian forward, Neymar suffered from series of ridicule from spectators and the media over playacting in a bid to get his opponents booked or sent off by the referee.

The Santos starlet Rodrygo leap to the defence of Neymar and he told Folha de Sao Paulo:"Of course criticism exists, especially because Brazil weren't champions, but if Neymar played like he did and was champion, they would say that he was the best [player] at the World Cup.
"I can't really understand the criticisms. I think it's too much."
Neymar has been an object of ridicule on the social media with a lot of video on the internet imitating his falls.
"I think it's the way he defends himself and I see many other players from other national teams doing the same thing, but don't suffer the same consequences as him," the 17-year-old said. "I see a lot of players from other national teams throwing themselves to the ground, simulating fouls, but when it comes to a Brazilian, it creates a disproportionate dimension. What they say is very unfair."
Rodrygo will move to Real Madrid next season just like his fellow Brazilian Vinicius who recently turned 18 years old before he moved to Europe to join the European Champions.
