Aguirre drops Salah from Egypt squad against Super Eagles

Egypt head coach Javier Aguirre has drop Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah from his 25-man squad for next month international friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Asaba.

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations host will also battle the Mena of Niger in the last qualifiers encounter on March 23, before heading to Nigeria for the friendly against the Super Eagles billed to hold at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

Former Atletico Madrid and Mexico coach Aguirre has also left out West Bromwich Albion defender Ahmed Hegazi plus Al Ahly quartet of Mohamed El-Shennawy, Hussein El-Shahat, Ramadan Sobhi and Marwan Mohsen whilst Al Wehda goalkeeper Mohamed Awad has been ruled out for injury.

However, Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny and Olympiacos of Greece star forward Ahmed Hassan Kouka make the list for a trip to Delta State.
