AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker wants a move to Real Madrid before the commencement of the World Cup in Russia, according to report in Marca.

The European Champions is keen to sign a new goalkeeper now that Zinedine Zidane is gone and the Bernabeu directors will go all out to get a new shot-stopper without any obstacle.

Real Madrid has been circling around for the services of the Brazilian goalkeeper who cryptically revealed something might happen in the coming days.

Alisson wants his future sorted out before the start of the World Cup, enabling him to give Brazil his fullest commitment and concentration.

"Let's see if something happens this week..." he said to reporters when questioned in the wake of Brazil's 3-0 victory over Austria.

"I hope it will be resolved, yes, before the World Cup, that's what I want, to be honest.

"I have left the responsibilities of negotiations to my representatives."

With just a few days until the opening game in the tournament, it may not be enough time to dot the i's and cross the t's.

"If it's not before the first game, it will be after the World Cup, that's my thinking 100 per cent," Alisson continued.

"There are some possibilities and we are working on all of them, with respect to Roma."

Brazil will open their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on Sunday, June 17th.
