Champions League By: Ayodeji Tunde | 22/11/2017

It was another disappointing outing for Nigerian striker Hemry Onyekuru and his Anderlecht teammates on Wednesday night as they were again beaten in the UEFA Champions League.

Bayern Munich though already qualified for the knockout phase showed their class; beating Anderlecht 2-1  on their home ground.

It was the usual suspect, Robert Lewandowski that got the curtain raiser as he found the back of the net much earlier in the 52nd minute before Tolisso sealed the win with his 77th minutes offer.

Anderlecht got its first goal in the Champions League campaign when Sofiane Hanni latched onto a header from Lukasz Teodorczyk and slotted home from close range in the 63rd.

Tolisso turned finisher in the 77th when he headed home a cross from the right to make the difference.

The result kept the German champion in second place, three points behind Paris Saint-Germain which beat Celtic 7-1 in the other group game.
