Another Nigerian Businessman of Aliko Dangote has redeemed his $50,000 per goal pledge to the Super Eagles in the just concluded 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

On the eve of Nigeria’s semifinal clash against the Desert Foxes of Algeria, the billionaire promised $50,000 per each goal scored alongside his friend Femi Otedola pledge $25,000 also but Riyad Mahrez’s excellently struck free-kick on the dead ensured that Algeria defeated Nigeria 2-1 in the semifinal at the Cairo International Stadium.

However, on Thursday, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) took to its Twitter page to announce that the business mogul has made good his pledge to the Super Eagles.

Nigeria finished the tournament with a bronze medal after beating the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia 1-0 in the losers final.
