Nigerian striker John Junior Igbarumah has signed for Swedish club IK Sirius Fotboll, according to the club.
The 27-year-old midfielder has reached an agreement with Allsvenskan side where he penned a two-year deal Monday morning.
Igbarumah said via the club official website
: "It feels great, I'm happy for the chance I get and hope I can do my best, says John Junior Igbarumah.
"I hope the fans will respect me as a hard-working player, I do my best every workout and every match, every chance I get.
Sirius Sports Manager Ola Andersson is pleased that Igbarumah now after a long time on the blue-black radar is Sirius player: "We have been watching John for quite a few years now and wanted to give him the chance.
"He is a constructive player who was a scoring player in division 1, and so as we are going to play this year, we think he will fit in well. He has done well in training and did well in the first half against all Swedish resistance last Friday.
IK Sirius Fotboll Director of Football Andersson visited Nigerian last year to scout for players and attended a game involving Mountain of Fire FC and Ogbarumah is a product of Dynamo Football Academy in Nigeria which produced Kennedy Igboananike and Moses Ogbu.
