Another Nigerian star Kennedy Igboananike has moved to Saudi Arabia to join Ahmed Musa from Swedish club Orebro on a free transfer to Al-Hazm.

The 29-year-old former Chicago Fire and D.C. United striker signed one and a half season contract with Saudi Premier League struggler.

Igboananike has featured in five different Sweedish clubs of Vasalund, Djurgarden, AIK, and Orebro where he bagged 76 goals in 200 matches in the top flight.

Al-Hazm are 13th on the league table with 14 points from 15 matches and they will hope their new striker fires the goals that will take them higher up the standings in their first season in the Saudi top league.

Last year, former Club Brugge striker Joseph Akpala also quit Europe to move for the petro-dollars in oil-rich Saudi Arabia.
