Another Super Eagles star Samuel Kalu has pulled out from Brazil friendly match on the 13th of October due to an injury.

The 22-year-old Nigeria international missed Bordeaux 3-1 win away to Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Sunday due to a thigh injury with many saying the move was a precaution to prevent him from aggravating it more but it appears like it’s worst than initially feared.

Kalu will be the second player to withdraw from the Super Eagles squad after CD Leganes center-back Kenneth Omeruo was also ruled out by injury with Tyronne Ebuehi called to replace former Chelsea defender.

Nigeria will take on five-time world champions Brazil on October 13 at the National Stadium in Singapore after their last encounter was in Abuja, June 2003.

The fixture will kick-off at 8 pm local time and 1 pm Nigerian time.
