Many players are throwing in their hat to play for the Super Eagles ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The latest to join the already long queue is Argentina based Nigerian footballer, Felix Orode.
He told www.sportsvillagesquare of his dream to play for the Super Eagles as the team prepares for their sixth Mundial appearance in Russia.
The 27-year old who has been in Argentina in the past six years once played under the current Atlético Madrid manager, Diego Simeone while the coach was handling San Lorenzo in Argentina.
But the Nigerian now plays for Defensores de Pronunciamiento Club in the Argentine third division.
Orode who had featured for the Flying Eagles before, remarked: “My dream is to play for Nigeria…I know the coaches of the Super Eagles have not seen me play.
“All I need is to be invited for trials and I will prove my worth”, remarked the player who had made contacts before with Daniel Amokachi and Emmanuel Babayaro in his quest to get a national call-up.
