Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa: Gunners leave it late at Emirate

Arsenal rallied back from behind to earn a 3-2 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League at the Emirate on Sunday, thanks to Pierre Emerick Aubameyang's free-kick.

Arsenal, as usual, had a better ball possession than Aston Villa, the Gunner had some decent chance on goal but the Aston Villa defence was on point to block any challenge.

Aston Villa went ahead in the 20th minute after McGinn received a defence-splitting pass from the midfield via El-Ghazi.

Arsenal looked disjointed towards the end of the first half as Aston Villa penetrated the midfielder to the defence to record some shot on target.

Mailand Niles was shown the second booking of the game after he fouled an Aston Villa player.

The first half ended with Aston Villa leading the race t claim three points at the Emirate Stadium.

Arsenal was award a penalty in the send half after the defence brought down Guendozi in the box and Pepe made no mistake to convert the spot-kick in the 58th minute to make 1-1.

Aston Villa went ahead again with a quick response from the attack after Wesley slot the ball inside the net from Jack Grealish.

Guendouzi was at it again but his effort narrowly missed the target and in the 81st minute Chambers scored the equaliser.

Aubameyang put Arsenal ahead from a free-kick to give Gunners the lead.

The game ended 3-2 in favour of Arsenal.
