Arsenal have reportedly agreeing on €30m deal for Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira.
The 22-year-old broke into the Uruguay squad this year and is currently with the national team as they prepare for the World Cup.
According to Sport Mediaset, Arsenal are
prepared to pay €5m more than Torreira’s release clause so they can spread the cost but are yet unable to agree
personal terms with the Serie A star as Napoli ready to hijack the deal for World Cup bound.
Torreira joined Sampdoria in the summer of 2015 from fellow Italian side as the midfielder appearances 38 and scored four times in the process.
