Arsenal fail to hold lead as Duarte equalises for Vitoria

Arsenal failed to hold lead once again as Bruno Duarte equalises late for Vitoria Guimarães in the Europa League Group F encounter at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques on Wednesday evening.

After an uninspiring game of few chances looked like it was heading for a goalless draw when Shkodran Mustafi headed home Nicolas Pepe's free-kick to give the Gunners the lead in the 80 minutes of the game.

But Bruno Duarte sent the home supporters into ecstasy when he equalised with a bicycle kick in injury time following some hesitant Arsenal defending in the box.

The home side could even have won it after that with two late chances, but in the end, they had to settle for a draw.

Unai Emery's side will still qualify from Group F if Standard Liege lose to Eintracht Frankfurt tomorrow.
