Arsenal set to complete first summer transfer business in July after agreeing to sell David Ospina to Napoli.

The 3-0-year-old Colombia international spent last season on loan at San Paolo Stadium, where he made 24 appearances and kept eight clean sheets, with Carlo Ancelotti impressed with the South American stopper during his temporary spell in Naples.

According to Football London reports that the deal for Ospina would be completed once after Colombia's participation in the Copa America is over with the fee of £3.5million to paid to Arsenal despite fell one game short of the 25 at which Napoli would have been obliged to sign him on a permanent basis £4 million.

Ospina cost the Gunners £3.2m from Nice in 2014 but the arrival of Bernd Leno for £22.5m at the Emirates made competition for places a lot tougher, pushing the Medellín-born down to the third choice behind Germany shot-stopper and Petr Cech.

With Arsenal expected to lose Ospina to Napoli and Cech's retirement already confirmed, the north London side will have to look for a new back up goalkeeper to Leno.
