Arsenal star named EPL Player of the Month for September

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for September after beating the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kevin De Bruyne, Son Heung-min and Riyad Mahrez to the award.

The 30-year-old Gabon international has been sensational since leaving Borussia Dortmund for Gunners in January 2018, where he has further strengthened his reputation as one of the worlds' most potent frontmen.

Aubameyang netting five goals in four games during September after a brace in the draw with Watford at Vicarage Road, before netting the winner as Arsenal came from behind to beat Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium and the red-hot forward finished the month with the equaliser against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

It is the second time the former Bundesliga striker has won the prestigious award, after first receiving it in October 2018

Aubameyang has scored seven goals from eight Premier League games as one behind Tammy Abraham and Sergio Aguero for the Golden Boot race.
