Atalanta held10-man Manchester City to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture of their tie in the Champions League in Italy.

Manchester City took an early lead via Raheem Sterling in the seventh minute against Atalanta but the visitors failed to capitalise on their goal-scoring opportunities following a miss from Raheem Sterling and a penalty miss from Jesus with just two minutes to end the first half, though Pep Guardiola's men managed to hold on to their lead in the opening 45 minutes of their reverse fixture in Italy.

Atalanta found the equaliser with just three minutes into the second half as Mario Pasalic headed in a nice cross into the net.


Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was shown a red card for an awful challenge on his opponent with just nine minutes to end the game.

Kyle Walker was brought in to replaced the dismissed Bravo.

The game ended in a draw.
