Bale reveals what he told Karius after blunder in UCL finals

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has revealed what he told Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius after his blunder in the Champions finals in Kiev.

Bale came from the bench to score two spectacular goals for Real Madrid in the 3-1 win against Liverpool in the Champions League final and was equally awarded the man of the match performance in that match.

Karius was blamed for Bale's goal and after the match, the Welsh forward went to find Liverpool shot-stopper to console him.

“Mistakes happen. It's just unfortunate it's in a final.

“Yes, I suppose it's not quite as bad as it looked but I suppose he should save it."

Karius has since been offloaded on-loan to Besiktas, He told the Daily Mail.

Bale and his teammates will start their Champions League title defense against AS Roma at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday while Liverpool will welcome Ligue 1 Champions to Anfield.
