Barcelona ready to splash out 7 million Pounds in January transfer market for Nigerian descent Karim Adeyemi to continue their youth revolution.
The 17-year-old joined Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2018 and is currently playing for their feeder club FC Liefering in the second tier of Austrian football and has reportedly been personally requested by Patrick Kluivert, academy director of the Catalan club.
According to Mundo Deportivo report that Barcelona have confirmed to them their interest in Adeyemi after he netted 11 league goals for the club and has also starred in the UEFA Youth League for Salzburg, fining back of the net against both Liverpool and Genk.
The forward could cost nearly £7 million after Salzburg already dished out £3 million to German club SpVgg Unterhaching to secure his services in 2018.
Adeyemi who has a Nigerian father and Romanian mother began his youth career at Bayern Munich and went on to spend six years at SpVgg Unterhaching but the youngster has featured seven times for Germany Under-17 side and scored three goals.
