Malcom was expected to arrive in Rome on Tuesday to undergo a medical and complete his move but he refused to show up in the Italian capital, following Barcelona’s late interest in the Brazilian.
Malcom is set to sign a five-year contract with Barcelona having agreed on a deal with the Camp Nou outfit.
The forward scored 12 goals and provided eight assists last season for Bordeaux, he will be the La Liga Champions second major signing after signing Sevilla centre-back Clement Lenglet.
