According to Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona are
unlikely to extend Suarez's contract past 2021 with the player due to turn 32 years of age in January as the Catalan outfit are already targeting a replacement after put together a shortlist of the players.
Ajax's Kasper Dolberg is said to be nearer the top of the club's shortlist alongside RB Leipzig hitman Timo Werner, while Suarez's countryman Maxi Gomez has also been eyed up by Barcelona's hierarchy.
Genoa goal poacher Krzysztof Piatek could be given the chance to move to the La Liga champions, as Eintracht Frankfurt's on-loan forward Luka Jovic, Nicolas Pepe from Lille and AC Milan's Andre Silva.
Suarez has scored 163 goals from 218 appearances in all competitions since his move from Liverpool in July 2014.
