Barcelona could be fined by UEFA after their fans entered the pitch in celebration after the win over PSG.

Barcelona are set for a UEFA fine following their dramatic 6-1 win over PSG in the Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday.

The European football governing body is set to fine the Spanish club after their fans ran on the field to celebrate the win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Barca pulled an impossible comeback when they defeated the French champions 6-1 on the night to make it 6-5 on aggregate, forcing their fans to go into wild jubilation at the sound of the final whistle.

A last-gasp double from Neymar and a Sergi Roberto goal ensured Barcelona crushed PSG's dreams on Wednesday night in Spain.

No team had overturned a 4-0 first-leg loss since the Champions League replaced the European Cup knockout format in 1992.

And UEFA says it has opened a disciplinary case for 'field invasions by supporters' at Nou Camp on Wednesday.

UEFA's disciplinary panel will judge the case on Thursday, March 23.
