Zidane faces tough decision ahead of UCL game against Juve

Legendary Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has charged the German club to make a move for Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.

Jupp Heynckes, currently in charge of Bayern, will leave the club at the end of the season having been in charge since October on an interim basis and Kahn believes that Zidane would be the ideal candidate to take over at the Allianz Arena.

“Zinedine Zidane is undoubtedly worth considering, I think he's sensational,” Kahn told German TV channel ZDF during Madrid's 3-0 win at Juventus.

“He has won everything with Real Madrid and can win his third Champions League title. He's a coach who perfectly fits Bayern Munich's requirement profile.

“He is French and can speak Spanish, so he could learn German, the question is more what can he do extremely well?

“He can manage a star-studded squad, he was an absolute world star himself, and while many former top players don't go on to become great coaches, he has.”
