Olakunle Brown’s analyses and predictions

Chelsea v Arsenal

The London Derby between Chelsea and Arsenal is arguably the biggest fixture in the premier league this weekend and already generating the right buzz for a gigantic fixture like this.

The Gunners dismantled the Blues 3-0 in the reserve fixture but after last weekend’s loss to Watford the efficient Blues will be favourites to nick this one in front of home fans at Stamford Bridge.

Interestingly, the betting odds on favours a Chelsea win with 1.93 stakes on the Blues while a win for the Gunners guarantee’s 3.96 and a draw 3.57.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal

Crystal Palace v Sunderland

Both teams are high on confidence after impressive results in midweek but Crystal Palace will be the bolder of the two sides as they welcome Sunderland to the Selhurst Park.

The Black Cats have a winning odd of 5.44 and a draw for 3.84 while the Eagles 1.65 shows they are overwhelming favourites to win this tie.

Palace have won three and drawn one of their last seven fixtures against Sunderland and I will expect them to win this tie with Wilfred Zaha playing out of his skin since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 3-1 Sunderland

Everton v AFC Bournemouth

In the Premier League there are no easy fixtures but Everton are the massive favourite to pick the three points from this tie.

The Toffees have won two, drawn one and lost just once against Bournemouth and are favoured at 1.72 odds by to come out victorious and 3.87 for a draw while the visitors have winning odds of 4.80.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Bournemouth

Hull City v Liverpool

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, said the Reds are unplayable on their day but on Tuesday was only able to salvage a draw against current league leaders Chelsea while Hull City picked up a moral boosting draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford., gave the Tigers massive winning odds of 6.64 to win this tie and 4.47 for a draw while the Reds are placed on 1.48 odd to win. Upsets happen in football and with Marco Silva Hull City have improved and can have a real go at Liverpool.

Prediction: Hull City 2-3 Liverpool

Southampton v West Ham United

West Ham United capitulated against Manchester City in midweek as Manchester City hammered them 4-0 at the Olympic stadium.

The result has put the work of Silvan Bilic on the line with Roberto Mancini rumoured to be in line for the job if results don’t improve. placed a 4.93 betting odds on the Hammers to pick an away win at Saint Mary’s and 3.73 for a draw while Southampton are rated highly to win with 1.73 but if any team can overturn bookmakers ratings is West Ham.

Prediction: Southampton 0-0 West Ham United

Collins Udeme’s analyses and predictions

West Brom v Stoke City

The Baggies welcome Stoke City to the Hawthorns on Sunday as both sides fight for maximum points in a Premier League week 24 fixture. The home side are favourites to pick up all three points given their recent home form of four wins and one draw in their last five fixtures in the league but they face a stiff test against Tony Pulis' side who have won two from five recent EPL ties on the road.

Despite the absence of their dependable centre-half, Jonny Evans, 8th placed West Brom, in my opinion, are still favourites considering the fact that the Potters who are one place behind their hosts will be without key names like Glen Johnson, Xherdan Shaqiri, Jon Walters and Geoff Cameron.

I am backing Baggies boss Tony Pulis with a Bet9ja odd of 2.33 to edge it against his former employers as his side are unbeaten in four Premier League meetings with Stoke (W3, D1) who have been awarded 3.25 odds for a win.

Prediction: West Brom 3-1 Stoke City

Tottenham v Middlesbrough

Tottenham struggled to create chances at Sunderland in their last outing and will consider that draw to be two points dropped as they play host Middlesbrough who drew West Brom last Tuesday.

Spurs have been in great form at home and I do not see it any upset happening. Middlesbrough are winless in eight trips to White Hart Lane in all competitions (D3, L5) and won the most recent meeting at White Hart Lane by 4-0 back in March 2009.

The history justifies Bet9ja's 1.28 winning odds for Mauricio Pochettino's men. Although Boro did prevail on penalties in a League Cup quarter-final in December 2003, their 11.50 winning odds may be tempting but will amount to waste of funds.

Prediction: Spurs 2-0 Middlesbrough

Manchester City v Swansea City

Manchester City seem to be getting it right with results since the arrival of Gabriel Jesus who has been a key performer in the Citizens' recent wins at Crystal Palace and West Ham. Willy Caballero played at Claudio Bravo's expense, but it remains to be seen whether Pep Guardiola was just resting his No 1 or if that was a sign of things to come. Ilkay Gundogan is City's only absentee. Meanwhile, Swansea will be without Jefferson Montero, while Leon Britton is a doubt. Paul Clement could be tempted to go with the same team that beat Southampton on Tuesday.

Swansea have won their last two league games under Paul Clement, while nine points from their last four games has seen them move out of the relegation zone into 17th place but it is unlikely their 11.25 odds offered by Bet9ja will attract any bet as against Manchester City's 1.23.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Swansea

Leicester City v Manchester United

Jose Mourinho travels with his Manchester United side to reigning Premier League champions Leicester City on Sunday looking to rediscover their winning formula after being held to a goalless draw at Old Trafford in their last league fixture.

After both league games finished 1-1 last season, the Red Devils have enjoyed better success against the East Midlands outfit this term and are looking for a hat-trick of victories after a 2-1 win in the Community Shield at Wembley last August and a thumping 4-1 success in the Premier League in September. United are considered favourites for this tie with 1.68 Bet9ja winning odds but I am tipping the league champions' 5.40 odds to be the winning bet.

Prediction: Leicester 3-2 Manchester United

Watford v Burnley

Watford's shocking 2-1 win over Arsenal has taken the pressure off the Hornets a bit after seven league games without a victory and should steady the ship a little bit when they host 10th placed Burnley who edged Leicester 1-0 in their last league appearance.

This will be the first top-flight meeting between these sides at Vicarage Road. Burnley's only defeat in their last nine league games against Watford came away from home in March 2012 (W3, D5). A draw would be a good result for both sides in my opinion. Bet9ja offers 3.20 odds for a draw while the Hornets and Clarets' winning odds are 2.15 and 3.64 respectively.

Prediction: Watford 2-2 Burnley
