Big fined for Man Utd by UEFA over late arrival to UCL match

Manchester United is fined €15,000 by UEFA for late arrival to Champions League match with Valencia at Old Trafford earlier this month.

Jose Mourinho side team bus was stuck in traffic on the way to Stadium in the 0-0 draw with the La Liga outfit but only the Red Devils arrived just under half an hour before the 8 pm kick-off time.

Manchester United cause the delayed by five minutes, with kick-off at 8.05pm in the Group H encounter.

UEFA have now fined the Premier League club €5,000 or the late arrival, and €10,000 for the match having to be put back by five minutes.

The result of the game sees Manchester United sit in second place in the table two points behind leaders Juventus which he played back to back in their next two fixtures in the Champions League.

Valencia are third in the standing while the group whipping team Young Boys are with no point.
