Robert Lewandowski got the opening goal as Bayern Munich secured a 3-1 win over PSG in their final group game of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night at the Allianz Arena.

It took the Polish striker just eight minutes to set the tone for the day as the Bavarians look to avenge the defeat suffered in the first leg and culminated in the sacking of erstwhile manager, Carlo Ancelotti.

Corentin Tolisso double the lead for the host in the 37th minute as they took a healthy two-goal lead into the break.

PSG came back smoking in the second half and they were quick to reduce the deficit as Kylian Mbappe pulled one back five minutes after the restart.

While the Parisians were looking to get an equaliser their defence was caught napping again and Tolisso was on hand to punish them as he completed his brace on the night.

Though Bayern ended with same 15 points with PSG, the massive goal difference by the French club gave them the edge as they finished top in Group B.
