African stars at the 2018 Best of Africa Awards in the United Kingdom have reacted to being recognised by the organisers.
The Best Of Africa Award celebrates the organisation or project which has demonstrated the greatest impact in the preceding year. Its
an event to honour and celebrate the philanthropic endeavours and achievements of African football players.
Nigeria's Alex Iwobi picked up The Philanthropic Endeavour Community Action award while his female colleague Jeans Senide
of Crystal Palace was the winner of the second Philanthropic Endeavour - Leadership Award.
Yaya Toure received recognition for his work with his Young Leaders programme in Ivory Coast ran by Tackle Africa who bagged the Philanthropic Endeavour - Leadership Award.
The award also had in attendance Yannick Bolasie, Christian Atsu, Wilfred Zaha, Sebastien Bassong and N'Golo Kante to mention a few.
