JUST IN: Ex-Arsenal star offered long-term Bordeaux contract

Bordeaux is set to dump Thierry Henry for Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi former Leicester City coach Claudio Ranieri as the deal becomes harder to clinch.

According to L’Equipe, Henry remains the ‘dream’ for Ligue 1 outfit but negotiations ex-Juventus, Arsenal and France striker are getting ‘more complicated.

Although Bordeaux doesn’t seem ready to give up’, the newspaper claims they are carrying out a separate round of talks with Ranieri.

The 66-year-old Italian coach has two spells with Ligue 1 clubs with Monaco and most recently Nantes.

However, it may be too late for Les Girondins as the Premier League winning coach could have already agreed to become Sporting CP’s next manager.

The French club are in turmoil after suspending Gus Poyet, who branded their owners a ‘disgrace’ for selling a player against his wishes.
