NPFL: Brazilian players hired to dethrone Enyimba

brazill The management of  Nigeria Premier League side, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, have expressly  stated that one of the chief reasons they signed six players from Brazil and two coaches is to dethrone current League kings, Enyimba. The football club owned by the Billionaire businessman, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah revealed that they  flew in the six footballers and two assistant coaches from Brazil after successful negotiations with their clubs. Some of the newly signed players are Wiltor Dalbo, Alberico Barbosa and Andres Darlan Da Silva, as well as Rafael Assis Da Lira. The Club Chairman of the Nnewi-based club, Mr Chukwuma Ubah stated how delighted the club is with the arrival of the Brazilian players and coaches. He affirmed his belief and confidence in the Brazilian players/coaches and their capacity to bring their experience to the team with a view to winning the league title for the first time and within its second attempt. He said that the choice of Brazilians will spur and challenge our local talents to bring out the best in them to meet international standard. He also reiterated the club's desire to win the league this coming season and promised that the club will stop at nothing to achieving its goal. The players and coaches as stated by club officials will be joining the other players at the club's camp base in Ibadan to commence preparations for the forthcoming season. The Nigerian Professional Football League which kicks off by the end of February is poised to be full of fun, excitement and glamour with the arrival of more foreigners including the Brazilian players. FC Ifeanyi Ubah finished 11th on the log last season and they were not without shades of controversies ranging from delayed players’ salary and interference in coaches job which saw the team having as much as three handlers in just one season
