BREAKING: Juventus complete the signing of German star

Emre Can, JuventusJuventus have completed the signing of Germany international Emre Can from Premier League side Liverpool.

The 24-year-old Red midfielder has signed a four-year deal with Serie A Champions following the expiration of his contract at Anfield, worth £100,000 a week.

Can move to Liverpool in 2014 from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and he went on made over 166 appearances for the Merseyside outfit, scoring 14 times in all competition.

"Juventus announces that a contract of employment with the player Emre Can, effective as of July 1, 2018 and expiring on June 30, 2022, has been signed," said the club in a statement.

"As a result of the signature of the agreement, Juventus will incur additional costs of €16m (£14m), to be paid over the next two financial years."

Can won 20 caps for Germany but he was dropped from 2018 FIFA World Cup  despite playing a significant part of world champions in winning Confederation Cup last summer in Russia
