He will undergo a medical before signing for the Red Devils.Manchester United have officially announced they have reached a deal with Everton for the signing of Romelu Lukaku.But a deal is subject to the Belgian passing a routine medical examination and also agreeing personal terms.The Red Devils made the announcement through their official twitter handle on Saturday morning, after news broke on Friday evening that Chelsea had matched their £75million bid and also willing to match the £200,000 a week salary on offer.
But news broke this week that United had beaten Chelsea to the punch, agreeing a deal with Everton for the player’s signature. But then on Friday evening, Chelsea made a counter bid to match the one made by the Red Devils, but it appears Lukaku will play at Old Trafford next season and will undergo a medical in the United States this weekend.He will then join the rest of the United squad for their pre-season tour of the US.
