The German Newspaper say Rummenigge, however, had already announced an analysis and consequences "in plain text form" on the evening before the banquet speech due to the score draw last weekend in a Bundesliga tie.
Should Bayern carry out Ancelotti's dismissal, the Italian's assistant Willy Sagnol is expected to take over temporarily as an interim coach.
At the request of the club bosses, the ex-Bayern professional was added to the coaching crew in the summer and had previously worked as a head coach at Girondins Bordeaux from 2014 to 2016.
