Kwara United Football Club were involved in an auto crash on Wednesday morning on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The newly-promoted Nigeria Professional Football League club were
returning to their base having taken part in the just concluded Bet9ja NNL Season Super 4 tournament held in Lagos.
FCNaija.com gathered that no life was lost in the incidence but few of the players and officials suffered a varying degree of injuries.
Kwara United are meant to host Niger Tornadoes in the opening day of the NPFL on Sunday but it is not clear if the game will go ahead as planned.
