Mfon Udoh: We must not put Enyimba fans under pressure - FCNaija

Super Eagles forward and Enyimba FC captain Mfon Udoh has backed his side to progress to the next phase of the ongoing CAF Confederations Cup campaign in the wake of Wednesday's draw of the 2nd 1/16th round in Cairo.

Enyimba's participation in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup will continue with a 2nd 1/16th Round tie against South Africa Premier League holders Bidvest Wits.

The NPFL record goals scorer in his reaction to the draw said: "Not as if we really wanted to avoid any opponent coz there's no small team again. The smaller teams do the shocking.

"But I think it's a fair draws. We need to approach this match like a cup final. No underrating of our opponent. We have to use everything in our arsenal.

"Sadly I can't be with the boys on the pitch but they have my total support and I'm sure they'll make the club and our fans proud by securing qualification to the next round." Mfon Udoh told in an exclusive interview.

The first leg meeting with Enyimba will come up on the weekend of 6-8 April, at the Milpark Stadium in Johannesburg, with the return scheduled to hold between 17-18 April at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
