Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has revealed his opinion about the Los Blancos former boss Julen Lopetegui after the Basque was sacked by the Bernabeu directors last week.
The right-back believes that Lopetegui is the ‘the best Coach’ he has ever worked with in his career.
Carvajal walked under the former Spain national manager in the Spanish youth team, at the senior level before reuniting with him at Real Madrid.

The former Bayer Leverkusen defender has never enjoyed the best of Lopetegui at Real Madrid before his sack due to injury.
“Lopetegui is the best Coach I've ever had,”
“Unfortunately he has not had that bit of luck with us.
“His way of seeing football, his way of managing the squad, his way of being with the players, I share these ideas.
“I have an idea of watching football and I said it before Lopetegui was appointed the Coach of Real Madrid and I will say it again now that he is no longer with us,” Carvajal told Spanish TV station TVE, as cited by El Mundo Deportivo.
Carvajal would miss out on Santiago Solari’s 22-man squad list that would travel to the Czech Republic to face Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League on Wednesday.
