Edinson Cavani clashes with Paris Saint-Germain teammate Neymar during a friendly match between Brazil and Uruguay at Emirate Stadium.

Both South American nation in an international friendly in England on Friday night, which finished 1-0 to the Selecao, thanks to the world most expensive player penalty.

Neymar relationship with Cavani has never been the best at PSG ever since former Barcelona and Santos forward moves to Ligue 1 Champions giants from La Liga holders in 2017 after they had a burst up last season when the two strikers argued over who should take a penalty and a free-kick during a victory over Lyon.

The 26-year-old Brazilain was on the receiving end of a proper Uruguayan welcome from Gunners midfielder Lucas Torreira and later in the match, the captain got put on his backside when he successfully embarrassed Cavani with a cheeky nutmeg but ex-Napoli striker turn lashed out at his PSG team-mate, leaving in a heap on the turf.

He later attempted to help Neymar back to his feet, but the Brazilian batted away his hand, prompting Cavani to walk away after he was booked for the incident.

Neymar and Cavani will reconvene at PSG after the international break and prepare for next Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash with Toulouse before hosting Liverpool in the Champions League the following Wednesday, before a domestic trip to Bordeaux.
