Members of the Nigerian Football Supporters’ Club (NFSC) have concluded plans to storm Morocco in large numbers in support of the Super Eagles for the 5th African Nations Championship (CHAN) which officially kicks-off this week in Rabat, Morocco.
According to national chairman of the NFSC, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, plans have reached advanced stages to be in Morocco and ensure the CHAN Eagles fly higher than its achievements in the previous editions.
“We want to be in Morocco to encourage and support our team to victory during the championship,” Ikpea stated. “This is another opportunity for Nigeria to consolidate upon its regained status as one of the leading countries in African football.
.....We will storm Morocco with full force in support for our dear super eagle, we want to take that leading role as far as Africa football is concern
. Our game base eagle must come back to the country with medal Ikpea added.
The Nigerian team is expected to play its first game against Rwanda on Friday, January 12, 2018, as the west African side has been drawn in Group C alongside Libya, Equatorial Guinea and
Rwanda, with the competition holding from Jan.13 to Feb. 4.
