CHE 4-1 ARS: Hazard scores a brace as Blues claim Europa Cup

Eden Hazard was on fire as Chelsea defeat Arsenal 4-1 in the Europa League finals in Baku on Wednesday evening, the Belgian forward scored a brace to help the Blues win the title.

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang blasted a chance to put the Gunners ahead in Baku but he misplaced the ball as he misdirected the ball as his shot went wide.

Eden Hazard picked out a ball but it took him too long to control the ball inside the box and he was robbed by Arsenal defenders.

Alexandre Lacazette was fouled in the box but the referee was not interested in the challenge. Granit Xhaka fired a long-range shot from long range but his effort was rattled against the crossbar.

The first half ended goalless.

The second half started with former Arsenal striker Giroud launched himself into a cross from Emerson Palmeri and converted the goal from a close range in the 49th minute.

Pedro Rodriguez doubled the lead for the Blues in the 60th minute and five minutes after Chelsea was awarded a penalty and Hazard made no mistake to slot in the ball from the spot in the 65th minute.

Arsenal put one back through Alex Iwobi in the 69th minute but Chelsea responded with another goal from Hazard to make it 4-1 with 18 minutes to go.

The game ended 4-1 in favour of Chelsea.
