Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger celebrated Germany's last-minute win over Sweden with a post on social media.

Germany needed a fightback to claim the victory over the Swedish national team after a goal down.

It took a last-minute free-kick from Toni Kroos to seal the victory for the German machine, with Rudiger appearing as a late sub for Joachim Low’s team as their Russian troubles continued.

Germain will need to ramp things up in the knockout stages if they want to compete with the in-form teams of the tournament.

Sweden won their opening game against South Korea but a defeat against Germany means they will have to wait untill the last game against high flying Mexico.
