Chelsea has been heavily criticized for signing Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco last season and the decision to let go of Nathaniel Chalobah to Watford and Nemanja Matic to Manchester United during the last summer.
Bakayoko has struggled to adapt to the Premier League and has faced serious criticism from the fans for his performance, he was dismissed in the 4-1 defeat to Watford in the Premier League on Monday night.
Former Chelsea FC coach Wilkins wasted no time to criticize the decision to bring in the French midfielder at the expense of Chalobah and Matic.

Wilkins told Sky Sports
: “Chalobah went to Watford for £6m, they bought in Bakayoko for £40m. Both the same age [both are 23]. Where is the £34m differential between those two players? I just don’t see it.
“You’ve got an English boy that has grown up, played 100 games for England through the ranks which are phenomenal, and we let him go to Watford for £6m.
“He loves Chelsea, he’s a Chelsea boy and I just can’t see for the life of me why we do this.”
Antonio Conte and his team will aim to return to winning ways when they host West Bromwich Albion at the Stamford Bridge on Monday and the Blues will also take on Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League later this month.
