Mundo Deportivo says Chelsea will meet Oblak’s €100m buyout clause in a bid to replace Real Madrid bound Thibaut Courtois.
Chelsea approached Everton for Jordan Pickford but the asking price of €65m discouraged the Blues from pursuing the deal.
Instead, Blues owner Roman Abramovich has agreed to pay Oblak's clause - with a deal to be wrapped up anytime soon.
