Eden Hazard is one of Chelsea’s most senior players and is well aware of his duties as a role model to younger members of the squad. Now one of the most sought-after wingers in world football, he recalls being in a similar position when he was starting out at Lille."In my first month I trained with Patrick Kluivert and he had a good mentality," Hazard told Chelsea magazine. "I remember one day we were in the gym together and he was doing some work, and I was doing… nothing! So he started to show me, saying: 'Come on, Eden! You need to do this!' "I remember thinking, 'If Patrick Kluivert's told me this, I need to do something!' He was a top guy, a top player. That's when I started to understand that football is not easy and you need to work if you want to arrive."You need to show the right mentality to the younger players because they are looking up to you. When I was 16 at Lille, I was watching the big guys, thinking, 'Oh, this guy does this in training; that guy never comes in late.' So, yeah, we are examples. You need to show the right motivation, the right ambition."Hazard has made eight Premier League appearances for Chelsea scored only one goal against Bournemouth so far.
