Chelsea star has been ignored by his national team coach despite his scintillating form for the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Spanish manager Luis Enrique release his 25 man squad for the upcoming clash in the UEFA Nation League against Croatia on Thursday and the friendly match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday and surprisingly he left out Marcos Alonso.

Enrique opted to favour Jose Gaya of Valencia and Barcelona Jordi Alba who has not been included for sometimes.

Alba remains one of the best left back in the world and Alonso will have to put a lot of effort to relegate the Barcelona star to the bench.

Gaya has been exceptional for Valencia this season he has played ten La Liga games for the Mestalla outfit this season and has scored one goal in the process.

The likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Alvaro Morata, and Cesar Azpilicueta was included in the list. Pedro and Fabregas also were overlooked by the Austrian manager.
