Newly crowned premier league champions, Chelsea could be forced to trade highly rated Super Eagles prospect Tammy Abraham for a chance to sign Everton’s €100m forward Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The 19-year-old had a fantastic season on loan to Bristol City in the Championship, scoring 26 goals in all competitions which has drawn the attention of top premier league sides like West Ham United, Leicester City and Crystal Palace looking to take him on loan.

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea are keen to re-sign Lukaku with the future of striker Diego Costa uncertain but the Toffees are hoping to capitalize on the Blues desperation and demand the inclusion of Tammy Abraham.

Lukaku is a proven striker in the premier league and will need no time to adjust to life at Stamford Bridge as he has been there before as a teenager but the prospect of losing one of the most improved youngster’s in their ranks may have Antonio Conte rethink the push for the big Belgian.

However, at Goodison, Everton manager Ronald Koeman won’t have any problems accommodating Abraham as he is building a vibrant young side.

Chelsea director, Micheal Emenalo was caught in the tunnel recently having a long chat with Lukaku after a game at the Goodison Park which sparked speculations that the deal might have been done already and the Belgian has continuously spoken of his desire to play UEFA Champions League football next season.
