CHELSEA V HUDDERSFIELD: The Blues out to redeem image

Chelsea will entertain Huddersfield Town in a bid to put back their campaign on track as they aim to redeem their image when they face Huddersfield Town on Saturday at the Stamford  Bridge.

Maurizio Sarri's men would come out smoking after a shock humiliation from Bournemouth in their last outing during the mid-week.

CHELSEA:

Maurizio Sarri has no fresh injury concern for the match against Huddersfield Town at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday in the Premier League.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN: 

Philip Billing is expected to miss the clash due to a knee injury, Daniel Williams will be missing for the Terriers against the Blues due to injury as well. Isaac Mpenza is another player who will be hoping to be passed fit to feature against Chelsea.

HEAD TO HEAD:

Chelsea and Huddersfield Town have met on 53 occasions and the Blues have a record of 22 wins, 9 draws and Huddersfield Town also have the same numbers of wins against Chelsea.

Chelsea has suffered defeat in just one of their last 16 meetings with Huddersfield in all competitions, coming in the League Cup third round a little over 19 years ago.

The Terriers are winless in 10 top-flight matches against this weekend's opponents, meanwhile, stretching back to a 1-0 victory in October 1954.

The reverse meeting earlier this season ended in a 3-0 triumph for Sarri's men in the Italian's first competitive game in charge of the club.

Chelsea has not been in their best in recent games following, they suffered a shock defeat against Bournemouth in the midweek and slip out of the top four position.

The Blues have lost their last two league games without scoring. 

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN:

The Terriers has been in terrible form this season they are down in the relegation zone following a poor campaign in the Premier League. Huddersfield is the bottom side in the division and are 12 points from safety.

The team’s best result was a draw in their last six games.
