Frank Lampard will make his debut with his Chelsea team in the Champions League as a manager against Valencia at the Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening, here are the details you need to know about the clash in the Group H. 

TEAM NEWS:

CHELSEA:

The home team will be without defender Antonio Rudiger due to injury, though the German defender played some part against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, he was substituted in the second half while N’Golo Kante is also doubtful for the clash against Valencia.

VALENCIA:

The visitors have no injury worries going into this game, the newly appointed manager Alberto Celades is expected to re-install Geoffrey Kondogbia into the starting line-up.

Chelsea had a better head to head record against Valencia, they have not suffered a defeat against Valencia in their last six games, the Blues won three and drew three against The Bats.

The Mestalla team has not been in the best form, they only won one of their last four games, drew one and lost two in the process. Their last game was the 5-2 defeat against Barcelona at the Camp Not in La Liga.
