Chuba Akpom got back to scoring ways after helping his new side Sint-Truidense to a slim win over injured Henry Onyekuru's Anderlecht in a Belgium top flight encounter on Friday.
After failing to break into the Arsenal first team, Arsenal on deadline day of the January transfer window confirmed the departure of Akpom to Sint-Truidense in a loan deal that will keep him in Belgium for the rest of the season.

Having started in one of his two previous league games for his side before Friday, Akpom was named by his head coach in the starting line-up and it took the Nigerian descent 42 minutes to break the deadlock and open his First Division A account in the colours
of Sint-Truidense. He also had a goal in added time disallowed.
Akpom's lone strike means Sint-Truiden move up the 16-team table to ninth spot while Anderlecht could lose their third spot in the event that Moses Simon and Anderson Esiti claim maximum points with Gent against Mechelen on Sunday.
Up next for the youngster who has represented England at youth levels but still eligible to play for the Super Eagles is an away trip to KV Oostende.
Chuba, who has been with Arsenal since the age of six, has made 12 senior appearances so far for the Gunner. He has also gained first-team
experience during loan spells with Coventry City, Brentford, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Brighton & Hove Albion.
An England youth international, he featured in the European Under-21 Championship in Poland last summer, netting three times in five appearances for the Three Lions.
